I was a 1963 graduate of Ovid High School, graduate of Mott Community College and Wayne State University School of Mortuary Science.  In 1967 I received my State of Michigan Mortuary Science License.  Having worked in Flint, MI where I served my apprenticeship, and after receiving my State License we moved to Adrian, MI where I worked a few years.  In 1975 I was offered a position back in my home town of which I accepted. I am a member of Ovid Lions Club where I served in the various Board spots.  I was president of the Clinton County E-911 Board from initiation to implementation of the 911 Center.  Now I am content to run the business of Keck-Coleman Funeral Home and let others enjoy the rigors of club/group activities.  Ovid is still home and we enjoy living there.

Curt has been an active Licensed Funeral Director since 1975. He attended Ferris State University and graduated from Wayne State University School of Mortuary Science in 1974. He has been through various continuing education programs in both business and mortuary science. Curt has been active in many community activities and organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, St. Johns Mint Festival and St. Johns Lions Club Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Curt currently is a member and President of the St. Johns Lions Club and serves on the Board of Directors of the Sparrow Health System. He also is a member of the Clinton Memorial Hospital Foundation Board and is the Immediate Past Chair and member of the Clinton Memorial Hospital Board of Directors.
